Privacy

This page explains what KinHelp does with personal data. It is written in plain language on purpose.

Who KinHelp is for

KinHelp is a family help app. An older relative can share their Android screen with a previously paired helper. The helper can see the screen and place tap markers. The helper cannot control the phone.

What we collect

To create an account, KinHelp asks for a mobile phone number and sends a one-time text message code. We do not ask you to create a password.

When families pair, KinHelp stores the trusted relationship (for example name and role) so only those people can be asked for help later.

Contacts on the phone

Before a help session starts, KinHelp checks that the helper’s number is already saved in the contacts on the phone that needs help. That check is there to block strangers pretending to be family. KinHelp does not use your contacts to send marketing messages.

Screen sharing

The shared screen is sent only during an active session that you approved, to the helper you chose. KinHelp is not a background remote-access tool. When the session ends, screen sharing stops.

What we will never ask for

KinHelp never asks for your PIN, password, or bank code. Do not type those into KinHelp, and do not read them out during a help session.

Payments

The optional KinHelp Family plan is billed through Google Play. Payment details stay with Google, not in the KinHelp screens.
